Could Jalen Green be the top pick in the 2021 NBA Drafts?

Jalen Green was named the 2020 Sports Illustrated All-America Player of the Year.
The highly sought-after teenager announced on 16 April that he would bypass college and join the G League’s professional route instead. The number one recruit of the class of 2020 had offers from all over the country but he decided that the NBA G League pathway was more suitable for him. He will be the first player to be in the reshaped program and would be paid over $500,000 and receive a one-year development outside of the league.
The 18 year old Guard was named number 1 in the ESPN Top 100. He averaged 31.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game in his senior year with Prolific Prep. Green also set a Prolific Prep single season scoring record with 1,008 points. He had many accolades to his name. One of it was being named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup which USA won gold in. Green was also named the 2020 Sports Illustrated All-America Player of the Year.
The guard would be joining a new G League team that is not affiliated to any existing NBA G League or NBA team. Playing in the NBA had always been Green’s goal. He wanted to be a better player overall and be well prepared for the NBA. He felt that the G League pathway would be able to provide with all the opportunities to take his game to the next level and he would also be able to focus fully on his basketball career.

Jalen green is a versatile player making him so appealing to the style of play in the NBA today. At 1.95 m and still growing, his athleticism and length allows him to play in many positions in the league. Weighing in at about 79.5kg, he is definitely going to put on some mass once he hits the gym more regularly making him a more dominant force on the court. He has shown us all his highlight reel dunks, his sharp shooting and also his vision on court to set up his teammates. 
He is definitely one for the future and you should not take your eyes off this young blood.
